I'm a rope artist in NYC working on some new tie concepts and looking for an experienced model to collaborate with for a test shoot. I've been refining a few shibari patterns and would love to work with someone who understands rope work and is comfortable with the physical demands. If you have experience with bondage modeling, you'll know how important communication and trust are during a session. This is a TFP arrangement where we both walk away with quality images. Safety and clear consent are non-negotiable for me. If you're interested or know someone who might be, let's talk about the specifics and see if we're a good match.

What kind of shibari patterns are you working on? I've modeled for rope before but mostly just ground work. How long do you typically keep someone in suspension if that's part of what you're planning?

Good questions. I'm focusing on asymmetrical chest harnesses and some partial suspensions, nothing too extreme. For suspensions I usually don't go beyond 10-15 minutes per tie depending on the model's comfort level. We'd take breaks between each configuration. Do you have experience with any suspended bondage work?

Not really looking for a specific body type, more concerned with experience level and comfort with the rope work itself. If your friends have done shibari modeling before and are interested, they can reach out.

This sounds interesting. I've done quite a bit of bondage modeling both for photos and performances. How many ties are you planning to shoot during the session?

Nikki - probably 3-4 different configurations depending on how things go. I like to work methodically and make sure the model is comfortable throughout. If you're experienced with rope that should be pretty manageable. DM me if you want to chat more about it.

Just curious, do you typically do references check before working with new models? Important for safety in BDSM work obviously.

Absolutely. I always ask for references from other riggers or photographers they've worked with, and I provide my own references as well. Safety and vetting goes both ways in rope bondage. It's how we keep the community safe.
