Starting thread: Searching for bondage model in Paris for paid shoot

I'm a photographer in Paris working on a rope bondage photography project and I'm looking for experienced models interested in paid collaborations. I'd really value hearing from anyone who's done this kind of work before. What's your process for discussing boundaries and expectations before a session? How do you prefer to communicate about comfort levels and limits? I want to make sure everyone feels heard and respected throughout the entire shoot. If you've worked in BDSM photography, what made you feel most comfortable and safe? Any advice on creating the right atmosphere and keeping those conversations going during the session itself would be genuinely appreciated.

Looking forward to learning from your experiences.

I've modeled for rope bondage shoots before. The most important thing is having a detailed conversation days before the actual session, not right before. Go over every tie you plan to do, show reference photos, discuss duration. For shibari work especially, I always ask about the rigger's experience level and certifications. Safe words are essential even for photography. During the shoot, check in regularly - bondage positions can become uncomfortable quickly. DM me if you want to discuss further.

As someone who's done BDSM photography in Paris for years, I'd recommend connecting with the local rope community first. There are regular meetups where you can meet models who are experienced and understand the scene. Building trust takes time. Also make sure you have a proper model release that specifically covers rope work and any marks that might be visible.

What kind of shibari ties are you planning? I'm interested but want to know more about the style and aesthetic you're going for with the bondage work.
