I'm organizing a photoshoot in St Petersburg focusing on rope bondage and artistic imagery. Seeking a model with some experience in shibari or at least comfort with restraint poses in a studio environment. Clear communication about limits and full consent discussions will happen before we start anything. Has anyone here worked on similar shoots in the area? Would appreciate hearing about your experiences with finding models, what protocols worked best for you, and any advice on keeping the process professional and respectful from start to finish.

I've done a few rope shoots in SPb. Main thing is having references ready to share - previous work, photographer portfolio, studio details. Models want to know they're walking into a legit setup. Also recommend having a written agreement covering what bondage styles you'll be doing, which images they approve for use, and payment terms if applicable. What kind of BDSM aesthetic are you going for? Like traditional Japanese shibari or more contemporary rope bondage? I might know someone interested but she's particular about the artistic direction.

Check if your studio has experience with bondage shoots already. Some places get nervous about rope work even though it's perfectly legitimate art. Better to confirm ahead of time than show up with your rigger and have issues. Also second what Alexei said about references - essential in this scene.
