Starting thread: Looking for content creators to work with

I'm looking to connect with other content creators who work in the shibari and rope bondage community. If you've collaborated with others on projects, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences. What made those partnerships successful? How did you establish boundaries and safety expectations from the start? I'm especially interested in understanding how people find compatible collaborators and what warning signs to watch out for. Whether your work has been educational, artistic, or performance-based, your insights would be valuable. What are the essential conversations to have before committing to work together? Any advice or lessons learned would be incredibly helpful as I navigate building these kinds of professional relationships in the BDSM community.

Been doing rope content for about 4 years now. The most important thing is having multiple conversations before any shoot happens. I always discuss limits, medical concerns, hard boundaries around what gets published and where. For shibari specifically, make sure your collaborator actually knows what they're doing with rope - I've seen too many people call themselves riggers who don't understand nerve safety.

Successful partnerships for me have been with people who communicate clearly, respect safewords absolutely, and are professional about contracts and releases. Red flags: anyone who rushes you, dismisses safety concerns, or gets weird about paperwork.

Happy to chat more about this if you want to DM me.

What kind of BDSM content are you creating? Photography, video, educational? I'm a rope bottom who's worked with several riggers and the dynamic changes a lot depending on the medium and whether it's more artistic versus instructional bondage content.
