Starting thread: Rope model needed in Madrid for content creation

I'm looking for an experienced rope model in Madrid to collaborate on shibari photography. I need someone who's comfortable with being tied, understands safety protocols, and has worked in front of a camera before. Previous experience with bondage modeling would be ideal. I'm focused on creating artistic, respectful content with someone who genuinely appreciates the craft. If you're part of the Madrid rope community or know models who might be interested, I'd appreciate any guidance or connections.

Feel free to share your thoughts or reach out if this resonates with you.

Hey, there's actually a decent shibari community in Madrid. Have you checked out any of the local rope jams or workshops? That's usually where you'll find experienced models who are already familiar with proper safety and communication in bondage scenes.

Thanks for the tip. I've been to a couple of jams but mostly focused on practicing my tying technique. Maybe I should start networking more actively there. Do you know if models generally prefer paid collaborations or TFP arrangements for this kind of content?

I model for rope work occasionally. For content creation, most experienced bondage models expect some form of compensation, especially if you're planning to publish or sell the images. TFP can work if it's purely for portfolio building and both parties benefit equally.

What kind of content are you creating exactly? Editorial, artistic portfolio, or something else? That might help people understand the scope. Also, will there be a safety monitor present during the shibari sessions?

It's primarily artistic portfolio work - high quality shibari photography focusing on the rope patterns and aesthetic. Yes, I always work with a safety monitor when doing suspension bondage or complex ties. For floor work sessions, I ensure clear communication and safety scissors are always within reach.

I'm interested in learning more about this. I've modeled for rope a few times but mostly in private settings. What's your experience level as a rigger? And how long are typical sessions? DM me if you want to discuss details.

Make sure whoever you work with has proper references. The BDSM community in Madrid is generally good but there are always people who don't respect boundaries. Ask for previous collaborators you can contact.

Absolutely agree. I have references from other models I've worked with and can provide them. I've been practicing shibari for about four years and have completed several workshops with visiting Japanese rope artists. Safety and consent are non-negotiable.

Do you need only female models or are you open to other presentations? I know some male rope models who do excellent bondage work.

I'm open to all genders. The most important factors are experience with rope bondage, understanding of safety, and comfort in front of the camera.

What's the time commitment looking like? Single session or ongoing collaboration?

Initially I'm thinking a single session to see how we work together, probably 3-4 hours including setup and breaks. If it goes well, I'd love to develop an ongoing collaboration for a series exploring different shibari styles.

Have you worked with suspension before? That's where you really need someone who knows what they're doing. Ground work is one thing but suspension bondage requires a different level of trust and experience.

Mia

Yes, I do suspension work but only with experienced models who are comfortable with it. I never pressure anyone into suspension if they're not ready. We'd start with floor work and only progress if everyone feels confident. Message me privately if you want to discuss your experience level.

About rope: what beginner mistakes do you see most?

This sounds professional. The Madrid scene could use more people taking the artistic side of rope seriously rather than just the party scene stuff.

I might know someone. There's a model who's been in the BDSM scene here for years and does beautiful rope work. Let me check if she's available and I'll get back to you.

That would be amazing, thank you. Really appreciate the connection.

Just a practical note - make sure you discuss image rights and usage beforehand. Some models are fine with portfolio use but not social media or publication. Clear communication about where the bondage photos will appear saves headaches later.
