Looking for shy beginner bondage model in Moscow

Starting thread: Looking for shy beginner bondage model in Moscow

I'm looking to connect with someone in Moscow who might be interested in trying rope bondage for the first time. I do photography work and would really like to collaborate with a beginner who's curious about exploring shibari in a respectful setting. Communication and comfort are my top priorities, and I believe in establishing clear boundaries before anything starts. If you have advice on how to find willing collaborators for this type of project, or if you've been a first-time model yourself, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences.

Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

Have you checked local rope communities? Moscow has several shibari practice groups where beginners often show up. That's usually a better way to meet people interested in bondage modeling than just posting online.

I would suggest being very clear about your experience level with rope bondage. If you're looking for a shy beginner, you need to be skilled enough to keep them safe. What's your background in shibari?

Good point. I've been practicing rope tying for about three years, attended several workshops, and I always work with safety scissors nearby. I'm not doing suspension work with beginners, just floor work and basic ties.

As someone who modeled for the first time last year, I can tell you the most important thing was that the rigger spent like 30 minutes just talking to me before touching any rope. Make sure you do that. BDSM isn't just about the physical part.

Thanks Natalya, that's exactly the approach I take. Building trust is essential before any rope work begins.

There are a few studios in Moscow that host bondage photography sessions. Maybe reach out to them and ask if they know models who might be interested? Some places have model lists.

I'm actually curious about trying this but I'm pretty nervous. What does a typical first session look like for rope bondage?

Marina, a first session would be mostly talking, showing you the ropes I use, discussing what you're comfortable with, and maybe trying one or two simple ties if you feel ready. Everything at your pace. Feel free to DM me if you want to know more.

Make sure you discuss safe words and check-ins. In any BDSM context, especially with beginners, you need multiple ways for them to communicate discomfort.

Absolutely. I use both verbal safe words and a hand signal system for when someone might not be able to speak clearly.

On bondage: how did you start?

How long does it usually take to learn basic shibari ties? I've been thinking about getting into rope work myself.

Depends on how often you practice. Basic single column ties and simple patterns maybe a few weeks if you practice regularly. But bondage is something you never stop learning.

For anyone new to this, I'd recommend watching some tutorials first so you understand what you're getting into. Rope bondage looks artistic but there's real technique and safety knowledge required.

What kind of photography are you doing? Fashion, art, or more explicitly BDSM themed? That matters for finding the right model.

Artistic and tasteful. Think more about the aesthetic of the rope work and the human form, not explicit content. The focus is on shibari as an art form.

That's good to specify. Some people assume all bondage photography is adult content when it really doesn't have to be.

Moscow has pretty active rope scene if you know where to look. Good luck finding your model.
