Starting thread: Bondage model wanted in Madrid

I've been practicing rope work for a while now and I'm hoping to connect with bondage models in Madrid who might be interested in collaborating on artistic projects. I'm particularly focused on shibari techniques and creating work that's both aesthetically interesting and respectful of boundaries. If you have modeling experience or you're curious about exploring this space, I'd like to hear about what matters to you in a collaboration-your comfort levels, creative interests, and how you typically vet new partners. I'm also curious to learn more about Madrid's scene and how others here build trust when starting new working relationships.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey Jordan, good to see someone taking the safety and vetting side seriously. As a model myself, I always want to know about someone's experience level with rope bondage before working together. How long have you been practicing shibari? Do you have a portfolio of previous work I could see? Also, what kind of artistic direction are you thinking?

The Madrid BDSM community is pretty active. Have you been to any of the local rope jams? That's usually the best way to meet models and other riggers in person. People can see your tying skills and you get to know folks before doing private sessions.

Thanks Carmen. I've been practicing rope work for about three years, took workshops with a few different instructors. I do have photos from past sessions I can share privately. My focus is more artistic shibari, floor work and suspensions when there's trust built up. DM me if you want to see examples and discuss further.

Good approach Jordan. For anyone new reading this, always meet in public first, check references, and maybe do a clothed rope session before anything else. Safety in bondage is everything.

I model occasionally for rope bondage. What Miguel said is right - the rope jams are great. Also make sure you have proper suspension points if you're doing aerial work. Insurance and safety equipment matter.

I'm curious about modeling but completely new to this. What should someone expect in their first shibari session? Is it always artistic or more BDSM focused?

Sofia, it really depends on what both people want. My work is artistic bondage - focused on the rope patterns, body positioning, and photography. Others are more into the power exchange aspects of BDSM. First sessions are usually simple ties, lots of communication, establishing what feels okay. Happy to answer more questions if you message me privately.

Make sure whoever you work with knows nerve safety. I've seen too many people jump into rope bondage without proper training and someone ends up with nerve damage. Check their knowledge about risk areas.

On bondage: how did you start?

What RedRope said is crucial. Anyone doing shibari needs to understand anatomy. Radial nerve, brachial plexus, all that. And have safety shears on hand always.

Absolutely agree on the safety points. I always have EMT shears within reach and I check in constantly during ties. Nerve safety is something I studied extensively in my bondage training.

How's the scene in Madrid compared to Barcelona? I'm thinking of relocating and I'm active in rope bondage community.

Viktor, Madrid has a solid community. Several dungeons and regular munches. The BDSM scene here is pretty welcoming if you're respectful.

I'm interested Jordan. I've modeled for rope work before. What are your availability and preferred locations for sessions? DM me with details.

For anyone new to bondage modeling - discuss all boundaries beforehand, have a safeword even for non-sexual rope sessions, and trust your gut. If something feels off, walk away.

Thanks everyone for the helpful discussion and safety reminders. I've gotten a few messages already which is great. Still open to hearing from other experienced models or people curious about exploring rope bondage artistically. Feel free to reach out.

Good thread. This is how you do it right - transparent, safety-focused, building trust. More people in shibari need this approach.
