Starting thread: Any rope models in Vegas

I'll be visiting Vegas soon and want to continue my shibari practice while I'm there. I've been tying for about a year and would love to connect with experienced rope models or bottoms in the area. Is there an active bondage community in Las Vegas? I'm particularly interested in learning about any rope-focused meetups, workshops, or munches where people gather. Looking for guidance on respectful ways to find practice partners and connect with the local scene.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Vegas has a pretty active BDSM scene actually. There are regular munches and rope jams happening around town. Check out the local TNG groups if you're under 35, otherwise the main munch crowd is pretty welcoming. Most rope models I know there are pretty experienced and selective about who they tie with, so going to events first to meet people face to face is your best bet. Show up, be respectful, don't be pushy. The community is tight-knit so reputation matters. DM me if you want more specific info about venues and timing.

I model for rope in Vegas. Marcus is right about the community being selective. We've had some issues with tourists thinking they can just show up and tie without understanding consent and safety protocols. If you've only been practicing shibari for a year, make sure you know proper nerve checks and suspension safety before working with models here. Most of us won't bottom for someone we haven't vetted.

Thanks for the heads up Sarah. I totally understand the caution. I've been working with the same model back home and we've built up trust over time. I'm definitely not looking to jump into suspensions with strangers. More interested in floor work and connection. Would attending a munch be the right first step?

Munch is absolutely the right first step. There's usually one or two rope-specific events each month too. The shibari study group meets semi-regularly and it's a good place to demonstrate your skills in a supervised environment. Bring your own rope obviously. Some models there might be open to practice sessions if they see you know what you're doing with bondage fundamentals.

The study group VegasRigger mentioned is legit. I've been going for two years now. Mix of riggers at all levels and several experienced rope bottoms who help teach. Good environment for showing you're serious about rope safety and technique.

This is super helpful everyone. How far in advance do these events usually get announced? I'll be there for about 10 days in December.

December should have at least two or three BDSM events you can hit. The main munch happens first Saturday of every month. Rope jam is usually third Thursday but sometimes it shifts. Message me privately closer to your dates and I can give you the current schedule.

Been part of the Vegas bondage scene for five years. One thing I'd add is bring references if you have them. If your regular model back home can vouch for you, that goes a long way. Some rope models here ask for references before agreeing to session.
